Hi! My name is Lil (they/them) and I am a licensed massage therapist (#MA60689784), Craniosacral therapist, and energy worker. I am a white person of Russian, Polish, and Arbëreshë descent. I have been practicing energy work on and off since 2009. I became an LMT in 2016, and I have been studying Craniosacral therapy since 2017. Welcome! I believe in this work with all my heart, and am excited that you’re here!

My approach as a practitioner is centered around grounding and building a foundation of care. I believe much of that process can occur through nervous system regulation and therapeutic touch. I also believe that this process is an act of revolution!

I have experience supporting clients who are experiencing grief, major life transitions or burn out, have chronic pain, have C-PTSD or are actively exploring how trauma has impacted their bodies, and those who are neurodiverse. Many of my clients work in service industries.

I am queer and became a massage therapist to serve my queer and trans community. My practice is gender affirming and queer informed.

It is my ideology that all practices of healing are inherently political. I honor the intricate and connected ways in which systemic oppression informs our own highly individualized relationships to embodiment and self-care. For that reason, I believe concepts of healing are highly subjective and I honor every highly personalized experience of what that looks like.

I identify as a trauma and social justice-informed practitioner, meaning I bring my awareness that our emotional, mental, and societal experiences within all forms of systemic oppression shape the way our bodies retain information. While I bring this awareness to all facets of my positionality, I offer this information more specifically in regards to bodywork sessions. At times, being touched can bring up a lifetime of stored memories of events. For this reason, at any given moment during our time together, you have full agency to share or ask for what you need. Sometimes this may include (but is not limited to) adjustments such as the following:

Adjusting the light or music

Open dialog and communication throughout the session

Bathroom or water breaks

Only receiving touch on specific areas of the body

Adjustments to pressure or depth

During our time together, I will offer any adjustments that I am capable of to make our time together comfortable and effective for you. I will not actively or intentionally attempt to elicit an emotional response or an emotional release, ask you to share any information that is not relevant to our session, or challenge your requests. In a world that so often does not remind us of this, you have full and absolute agency and sovereignty over your body at all times!

All of us are vessels of transformation, magic, grief, and vast, blooming opportunity to heal, and I am incredibly grateful to be able to help support you on your journey! Having a body is truly wild. I can’t wait to work with you.
